Oak smell test

I deal with the smell cause my wood is stacked away from the house. Red and white oak is about as plentiful as poplar here in the foothills of NC

Figured as much and meant to say so in my post since my tablet did the same. All good, no disrespect meant, I just like when I am corrected by someone that knows so when I talk next I give the illusion of knowledge. Curious how many folks here knew hickory was really a walnut though... :reading:
