Oil to put in gearbox for a Gear Driven chainsaw? (Specifically 775G)

I've been briefly googling and can't for the life of me find an answer; and the seller is mailing me the manual for the 775G (he forgot to grab it when we met for the purchase).

What oil goes in a Gear driven chainsaw gear box? Gear oil (80W)?

Found a video for this saw where they've got a vintage can of Homelite Gear oil in shot and says it's SAE 90... ok.

I was going to suggest SAE 90. I use it in my rotary mower and spreader gear boxes. Good stuff and easy to find. Get the bottle with the long spout.

Cheers, picked some up at autozone yesterday. Now Im thinking I'll pull the gearbox apart and give it a good cleaning then put the fresh oil in.
