Old saws without chain brakes.

Ive got an old Craftsman/Poulan without a chain brake, its 25+ years old and probably hasnt been run an hour its whole life,, it never starts,never has. always had me out of breath before it would start,,not sure why I still even have the piece of crap...

You should control the tip of your saw (which developes the most severe kick back) the same as you control the muzzle of your rifle.

I've been reading about the control of firearms by the Vice President.

I'd never dream of being that careless with a saw.

**** Cheney is as dangerous with a firearm as a 4 year old is with my bow saw! Haha. Back on topic...chainbrake, I view it as something that may or may not save my tail ina worst case scenario. I have never had the brake engage, ina kickback, but I've never had one even slightly out of the plane of the bar, thank God,
