Opinions on these Chippers

I'm in the market for a chipper, new to me but used to someone else.

I have located several chippers in my price range and want to know the pro's and con's of these chippers from someone who has owned/operated them.

My choices seem to be Vermeer 1230, 1250, W/C-17, Morbark-13, Morbark 2012.

My ideal chipper has a diesel engine and disk style cutter wheel.

The only one of those I have any experiance with is the 1250. It is a great chipper.

Unfortunately I haven't found a used Bandit 250 around my budget (10K), does anyone happen to know of one?

Another vote for the 250xp bandit it's a far superior machine to the vermeer 1250. If you can find a way to swing the extra money you will be better off in the long run IMO...

i got 2 250xps there 100xs better they can chip a whole 12'' log

I can't find any Bandit 250's for sale in this area, must mean they are as good as everyone is saying.
