Oregon 21A chain??

Anyone have a clue as to what this is?

It's printed on the drive link, as well as #25 on the cutter

it's .325" and fits on the bar of my Stihl ...

couldn't find anything with a search.

well its the same guage but it has more of a chipper type cutter where the 73lp is round chisel with a bumper on the drive link. Having not seen the 21a IDK if it has a bumper drive link or not but it wood be better for dirty stuff where the 73lp works better in clean.Hope this helps.

you didn't say what pitch sprocket and bar are on your saw but if its .325 the closest thing too 73lp would be 21lp-lpx.

it's a .325". I noticed the cutter on the 73 chain was the same # as this 21a chain.. #25.

so a chipper (square edge is it...I'm a little green on my chains...) is better for dirty conditions, roadside trees, roots etc?

AH...understood....

Hey Scott, with a chain grinder, can that be set to take the rakers down as well? I've never used one, and hand filing the rakers gets a little old with a 24"+ bar...
