I need to strip a P20, someone painted it UK blue. Just wondering what are some of you guys favorite methods for paint removal? I usually just sand it but it's tedious as all get out.

My buddy that worked at a parts store said to go with aircraft paint remover next time I have to strip something. Other than that bead blasting.
Wish I had a blasting cabinet.

I've used Jasco Epoxy Paint Stripper for all of my saw restorations with good results. Make sure you use gloves and apply with a paint brush and keep it saturated until you see the paint bubbling. I use a small stainless steel brush to remove the paint and then flush with soapy water. I've used it on both aluminum and magnesium without any damaging effects, but I wouldn't use it on plastic surfaces. It takes longer on the epoxy paint surfaces but is the best thing short of an abrasive blaster.
I have used it on all my restore projects, Tal Strip is the best I have come across.
Where do you buy the Tal Strip
I could get it through Parts Source, automotive paint and parts stores here but I havn`t bought any for several years. It stripped mag cases without any damage to the metal.
