I have been duped into using only handsaws (changing blades between trees), twice now, to trim canary island palms. Has anyone found a method to clean the saw (chain saw) to the satisfaction of an expert. Cleaning with a solvent tank and then sterilizing should do, yes. These jobs are with many trees (50) and (10), no spikes.

How about a hard plastic scabbard with the disinfectant inside so that it is cleaned every time it is returned? Canary Island palms are one sensitive plant BTW.
