We live in southern Wisconsin and put in a pear tree last fall. This spring the tree is not looking very good. It seems to have fewer leaves than it did last fall and the leaves have already turned reddish purple. What is wrong and what can we do to help our tree? Why would the leaves already be fall color in June? I should add we used tree fertilizer stakes this spring. Can any one help?
