We’re located in the gorgeous Blue Ridge near Charlottesville, VA, which was named a “Top Place to Live” thanks to the area’s arts, culture, and breweries near the University of Virginia, Washington, D.C., the Appalachian Trail, and the James River. Relocation assistance may be considered.
The ideal match is passionate about promoting tree and shrub health through sustainable practices, including Integrated Pest Management, cultural methods, soil testing, many fertilization techniques, and ecologically sound prescriptive treatments for pests and disease. You love interacting with and educating property owners or managers about their trees and shrubs. You want to be a leader in a professional team and will work with our PHC Manager and Technicians to route jobs, notify clients, mix/apply materials, drive vehicles, and complete paperwork. You’ll continually increase your skills to identify diseases, pests and nutrient deficiencies on landscape plants. Off season, your work may include assisting tree and grounds crews with pruning and takedowns.
