Looking into Caber options that might work in my PM700. Anyone know the ring thickness? They look like thin rings & bore size is 50.8mm. Closest Caber I've seen in my quick search is for Husky 575 series, which are 51mm x 1.2mm x 2.15mm. If the thickness is right, I might give those a go. Would also be interested to know suggested ring-gap if anyone knows.

The PM700 and most of the other McCulloch 70cc models used thin, tool steel rings; roughly 0.024" thick. There is a locating pin centered in the groove so the end gap measured in the bore is almost 0.060". Part number is 89732, I have some NOS rings and Max Rowe (@knightmax) has more.

Some of the older 70cc models used thick, cast iron rings. If I remember correctly they are around 0.045" thick.
