I have a growth on my plum trees. The only way I can descibe it is that it looks like poop on many if not all the branches. I have four plum trees, two Michigan plum and two flowering plum. Only the Michigan plum trees have this problem, today. What can I do?

Definatly blacknot a fungal gall that will reside in the soil. It is comon on most Prunus sp.

It is not treatble chemicaly, so just prune back to a clean union and enjoy the plants as long as you can.
