Woods ported 346xp. I bought this saw new local as the last 346 my dealer had in stock. I ran 2 tanks through it and gave it to my brother as a present. He ported the saw and ran about 10 tanks through it in the last year. It is currently set up with a 16" 3/8 bar and chain. Saw runs awesome. A little surprised he was willing to sell it. He wants $550 plus shipping with bar and chain or $500 pho plus shipping. It does have some minor wear on the silver clutch cover witch is normal.

If I had the money to spend on a saw just for the fun of it, this would be the one! I had the pleasure of running Bookerdog's ported 346XP many years ago and it was a screamer! Light, nimble, and would have out run my 361 in smaller wood!

I just built a 357xp from a 359 and have another one like it to do. So three 346s' & three 357s'...I'm good for a little while... :)

Yes, knowing what was done would be helpful...

When the 346 is long gone & only the saw bard's eulogize their legacy…you may regret not buying another 10 or so :dizzy:

I think that is close. Would have to check with my brother for sure. I know it does not have a pop up. Just my opinion...seems like the pop up saws have more grunt but a tiny bit less rpm. This saw may not win races but is pretty dang s,trong....especially for a work saw.
