"Ported muffler"

I bought one of those from a different seller. It's been in service for about four months, so far so good.

Would you consider it a stock muffler...or, say, slightly modded?

I assume that will act like a car muffler. More open so fast exhuast out--faster air in= more HP?

Husky 371 and 372 saws run very strong strait out of the box. I would assume the same holds true for the 362 and 365. Do you really need a ported muffler on these saws??

It does flow just slightly more than the OEM stock muffler. It also does not have the spark arrestor so it is not legal to use for a contractor working on Federal land, and some state lands.

The walls of these mufflers are thicker though and that's a benefit to longevity and heat dissipation. I like them.

I have one and it works fine. Not really a ported muffler but does have good flow. I think I heard somewhere that these are European style.

I have a muffler just like that from a 372K. Are you sure that it flows better than the stock muffler?......Bob

Depends on whether or not it has the internal baffle, and I think the 375k mufflers do have the internal baffle. The one I bought is an open can.
