Poulan high speed problem

Not sure about the oil tank vent, have to drag out a couple and see how they vent.
Might be a case of wrong impression from photo, but it looks like the bar plate is on upside down, the large slot is for the bar tension tab to fit in and the smaller curved one is for the oil distribution to the oil hole in the bar.
