Found a Pro Mac 1000. I bought it from a guy who bought it at an estate sale. He took it to shop to put new hoses and tune-up. The shop ran it for a while and started hearing a noise and then it just stopped. When I bought it, couldn't even turn over. I tore it down and found a carb screw in the cylinder.1000piston2.JPG1000front.JPG1000cyl.JPG1000pistonside.JPG1000right.JPG

Oh no, you poor poor man, I just got one from the original owner and it is almost perfect, those pics make me cringe, how available is p/c

I only paid $70 for the saw. Going to try and reuse the cylinder with a new piston.
Not a bad price as long as you can make it work I'm looking forward to seeing it run, I guess I need a carb for mine because the plastic fuel inlet elbow split on me and was leaking gas
