My uncle has a 1010 mac that is leaking gas into the intake manifold, and flooding out the saw! He's replaced all the carb gaskets, etc., and cleaned the carb. Is there something he can adjust in the bottom of the carb to remedy this situation. Or is there something else going on we don't know about. Any helpful hints would be appreciated! Thanks to all. Sounds to me like a badly adjusted lever height or a hole in the diaphram did you pressure test the carb ??

Could be also his inlet with a damaged tip or his fuel cap vent blocked.
