One of my favorite stories...My bullbuck used to be partners with a guy in a small outfit. Anyhow, at the time he had a 66 stolen from his garage, filed a police report and sure enough one of his neighbors got popped for some crime and there was that 66 in his house. Cops returned it to my bullbuck.

One day shortly thereafter, he's running cat and using the 66 for knot bumping. His partner shows up, he sets the saw on the track and BS's a bit. Partner leaves, he heads up for another turn. Getting it hooked, he notices some odd looking orange and white stuff scattered around in the landing. Comes back down and their the bits of 66 lay, he'd gone over it a few times pushing logs around tightening up the deck.

Scrapes it into a box so the forester doesn't ##### about litter and takes it home. Next day the cops call and say they need the saw as part of evidence in the thief's trial. So he dropped the box off for them, not a gas or oil cap intact.

Said he got some real funny looks over that one.
