question about dolmars

I was looking at the Dolmar catalog Im thinking about getting the 540 I noticed there is a 540 -18 A 540A-18 and A 540 A-21. What does the A stand for thanks Dan

Good question! I'm a dealer and I do not know. Never seen them with the "A" in there before. I'll hazard a guess though. Windsor uses "A" to symbolize 3/8 pitch and "J" to symbolize .325 pitch. Possibly the "A" means 3/8 pitch bar and chain?
