Thanks mate. I am at 0.88mm now with standard base gasket. I was thinking about doing a base gasket delete

My bad, it is .02 inches. 0.88mm translates to .034 inches, so unless your gasket is .35mm or less I wouldn't try it.

I'd consider that to be right on the minimum. It will probably end up being fractionally more when you've got some sealant in there though. Test it both sides once you've got it together. If it's marginal consider having a can of beer in order to make some appropriate gasket material available
