Rebuilt 357XP problems

Just read thru the thread, glad you got er running. 357 is an awsome saw. I have that and a 181se as well and they make the perfect combo. Im have an issue with the 181 at the moment but the 357 picks up the slack most of the time, sometimes cutting a round from both sides but it gets the job done quite nice. Awomse saw, id buy another if one came up for the right price.

The hose is part of the crappy auto decompression valve. It goes down to the bottom of the cylinder goes directly into the crankcase. You will have to plug it. The best place is @ the base of the cylinder right next to the cyl. bolt. Do you have a regular decomp valve on it? That hose will give you a serious vacuum leak and I'm suprised that it even runs at all. See page 5.
