retro fitting?

tried to see if their was any info or possibility to retro fit the new saws of today's air filtration with a older say early 90's saw but didnt find anything so i though id ask. Reason is i was at my j red dealer today and talking about the 630's and just wish they did a better job for air filtration like todays saws and he started saying how he wish he could retro fit the new turbo style saws to that type of saw because we both agreed itd be one heck of a saw and in my opinion id rather have a 630 than todays equvilant size saw just curious thanks

Only real option is to make a adapter or buy one that will allow a k&n filter to mount to the carb. Then you would have to cut a hole on the filter cover for the K&n to stick out.
