Injection solution companies are charging WAY TOO much for specialized (not so special) formulations. $300/L ($1,135.62/gal) for Ima-Jet 5% Imidacloprid.

Here's a sectret: Dimethyl Sulfoxide is the organic solvent used to dissolve Imidacloprid powder into a solution. Used on horses and humans, virtually not toxic. Will dissolve greater than 200 grams Imidacloprid/Liter.

Buy 1 gallon 21.7% generic Imidacloprid at your tree stuff place ($80), cut with 3 gallons of Dimethyl Sulfoxide ($120) for 4 gallons ($4,542.49 worth) of 5% injectable. Add a food color that is cute and call it good. Another positive of cutting with DMSO is it greatly increases permeability of the Imidacloprid atoms; allowing great penetrating action into plant cells!

Tear down the rip off companies! Generic propiconizale and generic phosphourous acid are available at a SIGNIFICANT price reduction (compared to name brand) from your same tree stuff place.

Just be sure to wear thick gloves and PPE. DMOS absorbs really well into your skin, taking with it whatever is mixed in. And even though Imidacloprid is fairly benign for humans at low concentrations, I wouldn't take a bath in the stuff.
