Jim Urban, FASLA, will present principles from his book, Up by Roots: Healthy Soils and Trees in the Built Environment, in a one-day, hands-on workshop. This event is designed to introduce key concepts used in site assessment and give attendees experience performing basic soil analyses. “Up By Roots” will focus on site assessment and plant selection and has applications in site development, landscape design, tree protection, and plant health care.

Registration for these workshops is now open. Given the hands-on nature of this event, seating is limited so register now to ensure your participation.
