What was the durability like on that thing? Seals seem to be a Wankel's weak spot.

That and emissions.
 
What is a wankel?

how does a wankel engine work in a chainsaw? Could someone please shed some science on this neat subject? That unique sound of the dolmy...how does that come about? Neat...very neat!

just like in the Mazdas..The APEX seals wear out, it looses power, and its a boat anchor.

Fuel consumption is bad due to the fact that it has 3 intake cycles every time the rotor goes around.

Only good part is it is simple, good throttle response and it revs to no end.
