Should I hire this guy? (Pic)

I got a reasonable bid from this guy to trim my giant Eucalyptus so I went to look at his work down the street and this is what I saw. I'm no expert, but this doesn't look like a very good tree trimming. Can I get some input?

CC I've been down your way on biz a few times this year and noticed there seems to be a topping epidemic in north county. Especially on those eucs....a lot of palms with like 5 fronds poking out the top as well.

Not only ugly..doesn't appear to be enough green to sustain the tree.Pretty hot down that way...Those trees die?grounds for a lawsuit.
