i've have planted a silk tree. the leaves are beginning to turn yellow. the tree has been in the ground about 10 days. please advise on soil needs and water needs.

Silktree is not very particular about soil types, but has low salt-tolerance. It grows best in full sun. For watering, use Brian's "finger test" (patent pending). That sounds almost obscene, doesn't it? Stick your finger in the soil: If its dry, water. If its moist, don't water.
