Silvey razor sharp grinder value

Hello all!

I have a Silvey razor sharp grinder I’d like to sell but I’m not sure a good price to sell it at. I’ve had it for about 8 years. Barely used it. I got it without the motor and stand do I made the stand and installed a Dayton 1/3 hp motor with a switch on top as well as the light shown. The rubber boots are in great shape no cracks or tears. Any thoughts on what it might be worth?

I've seen folks try and sell them for more, but remember a Simmington new is under $1200, even if the Silvey is arguably better.

Thanks for the reply! That helps. I was thinking $1000 but I will start at $800 then. I agree I definitely prefer the Silvey.

It is more of a machine shop now ). had a simington unit, could not seem to master it. spent too much time fiddling with it at the expense of production.

I do not know what is up with phone but your number listed does not go thru for me phone or message. Please contact me by e mail ( [email protected] ) or call me 414-232-9050 cell or shop # 4143540707 I am wanting the unit. was not in shop yesterday, tried to call and got message that # no worky. I do not have email or internet when not in the shop. It is over $200/mo. for same at home- out in the sticks. cell works 80% of the time out there but messages can sometimes sit in some sort of holding pattern. again sorry for delays, . The cell services went to the 5g stuff and it is lousy- same thing went on when they switched from 3g to 4g. The 5g signal is terrible for penatrating buildings unless you are very close to a tower and the default 4lte isn't any better. I get the same message of no worky on my landline at shop.
