We know its not totally free,but were not paying the man.Had the power company come by the other day.While it was in single digits he said meter needed checked wasn't showing gas being used.I smiled and showed him the owb in the backyard.Ha

yup i love not have to pay large electric bills i dont have gas but the electric company gets the stick when its winter

That's why I do it, plus my house is nice and warm instead of freezing my butt off trying to save money.

i wished they would check my meter they are trying to charge me over a 1000 bucks for this months kub bill i heat with wood in the wood stove and i don't have air or heat hooked up to my house. and i know i don't burn my lights all the time ether

My wife and I went 100% wood heat about 9 years ago. We have been warm ever since.
