Nice saw, I saw the listing inn kijiji and had to favourite it.

If you want to sell it to someone in the US you will need to accept payment other than EMT. Etransfer doesn’t work across border the same as in Canada. You should also figure out what it will cost you to ship it and add that in to your price. People will be more likely to seriously consider your offering if they know exactly how much. You also need to know how much you are going to realize on the converted funds, it is less that just looking at the posted exchange. You aren’t far off but PayPal is currently paying 1.32 so a straight conversion would only be $1188.

Based on your CDN asking price I would suggest $1000USD shipped and insured.

Also take pictures of exactly what you are planning to sell. If you aren’t sending the spikes take them off, if you are planning to put other ones on put them on. Then your ad might get a fair look.

Also, add Arctic to the title of the add.

Dang Gary, how much do you charge for your services :envy:, but I agree:cheers:. Then again if someone only wants to deal with folks who are familiar with transactions across boarders if the ad is left as is(regarding price/shipping) then he wouldn't have to deal with any unreal expectations.
The whole reason I asked if it was cad was for mr Wolfe's advantage. The price seemed fair to me for an arctic version of a saw no longer sold in great condition as many like that saw and have ran them for yrs and would be willing to pay that, just need to get the ad in front of that guy and it will be gone.
I also try to make things simple in my ads as it works better that way and I have an easier time remembering what the heck I'm supposed to do lol. I have one ad that's still open right now I'll probably mark sold just because it could be a bit confusing, that and I'm going to build one of the saws in it since I acquired a ported cylinder for it.
EMT is an issue, PayPal makes it easy for payments .
And those dawgs would be the deal breaker for me:laughing:, not:lol:, but why not show exactly what is being sold with the saw or state when you will make that happen(by adding pictures). I typically write my ads out on the computer and then add the pictures from my phone, in my initial post I will say pictures coming soon, although sometimes I've gotten distracted and soon becomes a while :omg:.
