I have been tuning on my makita a little bit. I thought it may be too lean. the plug is a very light tan color. I richened it up a bit. I have noticed no change in the plug color, but it sounds better, and im unsure if it is hitting the rev limiter or not. Before, i am positive it was on the limiter. And it hit it very fast. The plug has kind of a light green tint to it on one side, what is that? It is barely noticeable.

Plenty of posts on plug reading on AS. Don't trust a plug reading, it takes a Coddington magnifier and years of experience to do it right. Learn to tune from the two-four break.
