splitting shagbark hickory

The Fiskar's X27 works good on that Shagbark..
If it is over 20" in diameter I rip, then split..

Use a chainsaw cut them in half sideways .All i can tell you.

So that works better than a double headed axe? I bet on white oak and hickory you still have to put the sledge to it.
