So, a bunch of years ago, i got this 020t off craigslist pretty cheap. Ran good when i got it, but didn't use it much. I put new gaskets in the carb middle of last year.

The saw starts easy and runs great when it's just warmed up. But, as i make more cuts, it starts to idle lower and lower, to the point where it won't stay idling. If i jack up the idle, it idles too fast when cooler.

Where should i start?

If you're positive the metering lever in the carb is adjusted to the correct height and the low jet is in tune then check or replace fuel and air filters. Inspect tank vent. Check carb boot and fuel line. I suppose a crack in the boot could seal itself when warmed up to operating temperature causing rich conditions. It may have a bad bearing seal which warms up and seals itself.
