Why do you need "A" sizing, and 44 or 44.7mm?
44mm. Looking for “A” grade so I can hopefully end up with .002” clearance with a OEM piston. A cylinders being the smallest bore I think I’ll at least get close to that number.
You using OEM Stihl A/B piston?

I might have one that would work. I did a swap on one I bought. When I did it the piston was in such terrible shape I didn’t even look at the inside of the cylinder but surprisingly it only had a tiny bit of aluminum transfer it should easily clean up I’ll get some pictures tonight when I’m done slaving away for the man

Should be a letter stamped on the top of the cylinder near the spark plug hole. A, B, or C.
