I have a stihl 028 av that is hard to start, if you spray starter fluid in it it fires right up and runs great. This has been a good saw, I have put a new fuel line filter and a carb kit, and a new plug. any help would be apriciated.

Quit using starting fluid, give it a little mix instead. Check to make sure the choke is closing all the way, if that's ok you might try opening the low adjuster about 1/4 turn, if set a little lean it harder for the choke to draw fuel through. Steve

Thanks, I had to go out and try it the choke was shutting properly, so I adjusted the carb and it runs like it should again.

thanks again:
