Fact to know - when Stihl leaves a door open for competitors = they will take advantage.

Echo did so with the 2511T and the 620p

Had echo made the 7310p a 80cc saw it would of blown the doors off of Stihl sales over the 500i

Now i am a STIHL 1st chainsaw owner - except when they inflate the price way higher then competitors

That is why i purchased a 620p and a 7310p for the price of one 500i

Hey STIHL - listen up...........

i have not cut wood with my 7310p yet so the verdict on vibration is yet to be determined
But i will buy a 462 (no CM) if Echo has higher vibration

The smoothest chainsaws i have run are Makita 5000/6401/7901 and the Husqvarna 576xp

Have you run a 500I against the 7900 and compared vibes, It's hard to tell which is smoother, but I do know which one is lighter. You tell me. I ain't no fan of Echo at all, but the Dolmar is a good saw.

Echo is at the Bottom as far as vibes go but is at the Top as far as price goes.

My Makita/Domars are absolutely the smoothest including the 576xp .

When i cut with the 500i i will give you my opinion as how it feels thru my hands.

My echos will be going to my younger sons as my hands cannot cut all day anymore.

Soon i will compare my 7310p to my friends 462c

the 462c is much lighter

Interesting fact = the 28" Bar on the 7310p is equivalent in length and Drive Links to a 30" Stihl Bar
