Up for sale is a Stihl 044 pho. I bought the saw partially disassembled. It has new aftermarket carb, fuel line, impulse line, dual port muffler, and top handle. I left the crank seals alone. It has a oem piston, jug and rings. It does have a little scratch just above the rings on the piston but the saw runs great. I can't remember what size wrist pin is in it but I believe it was a 12mm. The compression reading I got was a shade over 140 but my setup doesn't seal well against the head. The saw can be picked up from the pull handle and will not try to walk the rope for quite a few seconds. There are two base gaskets installed because with only one gasket it would hit the top of the jug. This jug has no decompression vale port on it. I don't know why the clearance is so tight because I can't find where anyone modified it. I would like $450 shipped in the lower 48. If you have any questions just ask.

Sn is 144331440 and yes it is weird but I can't remember seeing the small pin. I bought it taken apart so someone has been in it before. I never measured the squish once I found it wouldn't slap the jug but running it does good and doesn't hit.

Wow, can't believe there hasn't been any offers. If it doesn't sell I will bring it to the west KY GTG and let someone run it to vouch for it.
