I would like to sell a running STIHL 064 and a MS 460.
As some of you already know, I live in Europe, Im buying/selling chainsaws, but I'm not using them, and I'm very far from being an expert. I will do my best to describe them as well as possible. It is a bit harder now, because now I'm left totally alone, I stopped all contact with the man who helped me checking my saws, he is not trustworthy. He refused to do a small favor, despite the fact that, he called me a "good friend" and sometimes even a "family member" several times... I think I made a good decision, I don't want to change him and I feel so free now.
I'm without a comprassion tester now, I'm waiting for my own tester to arrive.
STIHL 064: starts easily and runs, chain brake makes the "clicking sound" but does not stop chain. It appears to be all original. I think compression is ok, if I hold the saw by the cord, it drops slowly. Clutch may need to be replaced, but because of lack of knowledge, I can't tell how bad the clutch actually is. Asking $420 shipped bar and chain included.
STIHL MS 460: I bought this saw as a good runner, with very good compression. I think it is true, it starts right off and if I hold the saw by the cord it does not drop at all. I'm not sure if bar is original or not, because there is a hole in it and I think original bars do not have holes in them. Aftermarket clutch cover. Asking $520 shipped, new bar and chain included.
