Stihl MediaCat 01-2011 v3.33

Don't know if I am allowed to post this or not, but I am sure the moderators will decide.

Googling around last night I tried googling "Stihl Mediacat 2011" and found it on a number of file sharing sites. Below are links I found.

Download the 8 files from the file sharing websites, and assemble them using winrar or a similar utility. Open the '.rar' file created and unpack the '.iso' files. Mount or burn the .iso files, and run setup.

I did not upload these, so I cannot vouch for them. I came across this last night, and went to bed while my pc was downloading some of these files. Assembled it all this morning, and it seems to be working, my antivirus did not get upset, and my pc is still working. I make no guarantees.

I understand the Stihl SCS 01-2011.iso, but what is the Viking SCS 2011-02.iso for?

I couldn't get them to work either. Put up a post in the original mediacat chain letter thread, and I will send out 2 new 2010 copies to the first 2 to get it started back up.

I actually got it to work as advertised -- provided the catalog CD was in my computer, which is what I opted for in the installation.
It's not quite what I expected. Kinda clunky, actually. But it works.

Heaven forbid ya shoot me a PM, but I might be able to help ya get it going.:biggrin:

No thanks, A good member here sent me a copy of the 2010 and 2009 version without the date/void thing and it is great, has a lot of options over the 2007 version I started the chain with.

That's cool. Sounds like it may be a better version anyway. This 2011 version 3.33 is seriously top heavy/slow with way too much crap to wade through just to load an IPL.

The "beg" thread is almost as fast.

I definitely want it -- if it is a stand alone software (meaning I don't have to have a media cat already loaded -- yours is the total package)
