Alright. Ive got one that's about 1 year old with just firewood use... But $700 is a little light.

Are you wanting bar and chain as well or just the PH?

I keep bugging my dealer, but he doesn't know. And wont know price until its added to the catalog.
I would imagine around 1500$ and they'll probably release them when they get rid of the old stock of 461/441s they are sitting on.

I can't see it being more than a 661, but I guess it wouldn't surprise me.

At that price, I'd keep the 461.

They're for sale in europe For about 1250.00 Euro which is about 1500 usd. And I hear you I won't jump to buy one for 1500 when they come out I'll just keep my mint 460 and 461. Probably just port my 460 and be done with the 70cc class. Not a fan of mtronic carbs anyways.

Looking for a stihl 461 in decent shape.
I have one, an older 460 Magnum and some other large powerhead saws you may be interested in, all of them have been sitting for a few years with gas in the tank. On the 460 Mag I am sure it will need a good carb cleaning, possibly a rebuild kit (What I would do). If you want I will remove muffler and take a pic of the piston and do a compression test for you. I got it from an old farmer down the road just yesterday. Fine resistance on pull start, I suspect a new spark plug combined with a good cleanup and a carb kit will put this one back in service. I don't have time for any more projects at the moment.

I also have two 066 power heads and a 045AV, all of them, the 045AV, the 460 Magnum, the 066 and a 066 Magnum have been sitting for a while after the old owner was injured in a fall . Here are a few pics for you. Ill take pics of the 045 later this afternoon.

Here is the 460 Magnum

Make me an offer on any of them. These saws were used on a cattle operation for basic woodcutting, they lived their life in the back of a pickup truck, I would hazard a guess that 40% of the wear marks on them come not from use but from transportation :) Have a great day.
