yup I want the new version 261cm badly also, but trying to decide if saving a hundred is worth not having a warranty. What would I do if I bought this saw and had a problem with the computer?

My buddy purchased one of these and the thing rips. Could notice a difference from my 261 non m tronic saw that's maybe 5 years old. Good luck with sale! Love my 261 perfect firewood saw.

Great saws. I really like the choke on the new M-Tronic 261 and 661. It's a one position lever. Once the saw fires it automatically switches to half choke and once you blip the throttle of course it switches to the run position.
