Stumps next to curb...think the bobcat will pop up the curb too?

HO wants the stumps between wall and curb removed. They are overgrown in between there, and to grind them out would most likely mar the curb and wall. So the HO wants the wall removed too.

I think if I go popping up these stumps with the bobcat, the roots will end up popping up the curb too. Anybody know any better?
 
If it was my own curb and wall, I'd carefully try it after a good rain when the ground is soft and they may come out easier. If it was someone elses curb and wall, I would stay away from it, you stand to loose more than you could make.
 
I'll almost guarantee that the curb will be affected and if there is asphalt, the drive way too, maybe not immediately, but over the next winter the driveway will crack. This would be cause by the void you leave under the driveway coupled with frost and traffic. What about an alpine magnum handheld grinder?
