I have been told that log-house builders often use the 066/660 with a Picco (PMX) set-up on a 18-20" bar over here.:yoyo:

Stihl has it in the catalog as a standard set-up!

PM = Picco Micro - this is Stihls version of the 3/8" low profile chain (like Oregon 91-series).

PMX is the ripping version of the PM, with a shallow top-plate angle.

The 3/8" low profile chain are not very strong, so it is a small wonder to me that they routinely use them on the 066/MS660, and get away with it......
