Three weeks of rare Dolmar scores.

Well, it's been a good month for rare Dolmar saws in my collection. A friend of mine was liquidating a few, one being a Poulan S6000 (Dolmar 152/153) and the other a 166. We met up at the Iowa GTG several weeks ago to finish the transaction.

Fast forward to last week. I was talking with a friend that mentions a KMS-4 was on CL south of Omaha. I called the gentleman a spoke for some time. He would not ship the saw so I knew I had a chance. We came to an agreement on price and time to pick it up and he held his word. He purchased the saw new in 78 and remained the only owner. Received all the paper work that came with the saw also.

Should I port it? Heck, I didn't even pay attention to the intake port. I'll check to see if it's peripheral or side plate. If side plate, bridge port would sound bad azz.

A bridgey chainsaw! That would be sick!

For those that may not know, folks port the 13B rotary engines found in Mazda RX7's. Bridgeports have an erratic idle and sound sweet IMO.
