Yep. For about $150 I got a saw that has enough power to drop a 95 foot tall, 27 inch diameter pine and is only 10.3lbs pho. I’m not sure why they get such a bad rap though.

Look up MS250 on google and see all the threads about them. All you’ll hear is, “bad av system, no power, homeowner junk”. I just barely picked an MS250 over an Echo 451 EVL (I think) because of all the bad reviews I read about the 250.

Savage saws. My Granddad got one in 2002, I own it now, only thing that ever needed replacing was the muffler. Although the carb is a bit dodgy last year or so.

Ran a Husqvarna 2100 cd w/24” bar, but the 16”/18” bar rules. for decades. It’s not the size of the bar, it’s the hp / cc in the powerhead.

The Husqvarna 385 Xp with a 32” bar.
