We've got an apple tree that had some ice damage and was wondering if its too late to trim off those damaged limbs plus a few others that are outta control. Its pretty much in full bloom with a lotta leaves to.

I would say hold off on the other pruning. BUT get the damaged limbs off ASAP. Make proper pruning cuts at the proper places on the tree. Wait until late summer early fall.....or preferably winter when it is dormant to prune. Dead wooding at this time is OK.

Good Luck!
