I have pin oaks lining my driveway and one of the trees is not doing well for the past couple of years. I live in Pennsylvania. These pictures were taken in September. I am looking for a treatment. It looks like the branches and leaves are growing very close to the trunk and not spreading out. Any ideas of what this is or how to treat it?

Yeah, pretty severe die back on that one, and off the pics it looks like it may be spreading to the trees on either side, especially the one on the left. My first suspicions would be leaf scorch or canker, although if this has been going on for a couple years the spread seems awfully slow. I would get a certified arborist out there as soon as they start to leaf out.
