I'm currently involved in a project at the university.
The task is to model the growth of trees and the effects
of pruning. The model will be highly idealised, but
still based on botanical growth laws.
For this we will need some rather specialized
litterature. Books that in depth describes the
growth of trees, various species, as well
as probalistic data for the probability that
a bud becomes a flower, the angle in which a
branch is connected to it's parent branch e.t.c.

Anyone ever seen a book/books on this?
Any help on finding them would be highly appreciated.

This book is very very good.
Pruning and bud growth are covered.
