trees best suited for privacy

I'm looking to plants some trees along the back 40 feet of my backyard to provide privacy from the parking lot on the otherside. My block wall is 5 feet tall, so I would like some trees that fill in from that point up. Thank you for your help

Cedar at about a 4' spacing, if the soil is moist. If it is dry, spruce will grow there, but not be particularly happy. Conifer will provide you with year-round coverage, and cedar and spruce are about the densest there are.
