Since we can't seem to find a cheap vacuum brake bleeder in Canada for les than $50, I cobbled something different if you have the equipment.
I made a valve/gauge/ from a tee fitting, some tubing a vacuum gage ($8.00 at Princess Auto), a pressure gage (had one) and a shut off valve. I carved the rubber off an old Schrader valve stem to insert into the impulse line. Blocked the exhaust port with a plate and piece of inner tube and a piece of inner tube behind the carb as stated in all the other threads here.
The only thing you need is a piston compressor or access to one. Pressure test with the compressor. Change the gauge to the vacuum gage and hook up to the air intake on the compressor cylinder. Mine is only a 1 hp but I was able to pull 20 in hg or 10 psi using the compressor air intake on the cylinder. I guess I have about $10 in it. Worked great.
