Hello.
Where do you guys source vermeer parts at. My local shop must be in love with them. They have crazy pricing but I wondered if you guys have a place for vermeer chipper parts.

Yes, Vermeer pricing is crazy high.

But for most new parts a Vermeer dealer is the only option.

A few times I was able to locate a part from the casting number. Found the feed wheel speed control on Amazon this way.

Good to know. I appreciate that info. So the vin. Ain't much help.
 
The VIN is needed by Vermeer when ordering date dependent parts.

Not useful for much else.
I have always had Vermeer chippers and stump grinders. Most of the parts can be gotten after market, especially bearings. I need a bushing for cutter wheel $780. Of coarse Vermeer grinds part number off. when to Motion Industries and got the same one for $98 and had it the next morning. It pays to do reseach.
